These terms explain how our services operate, your responsibilities as a seller, our obligations, payment rules, and essential legal guidelines.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting our website, submitting a vehicle enquiry, speaking with our team, or engaging our services in any form, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

  1. Service Eligibility

To sell a vehicle to NSW Wreckers, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be the lawful owner of the vehicle or have written authority to sell it
  • Provide accurate and honest information regarding the vehicle
  • Present valid ID when requested
  1. Vehicle Evaluation & Quote Process

3.1 Preliminary Quote

Quotes provided via our website, phone, email, or SMS are based solely on the information you supply. These initial valuations are indicative only and may change following a physical inspection.

3.2 Final Inspection & Offer

During onsite assessment, our team will review:

  • Overall vehicle condition
  • Odometer reading
  • Interior, exterior, and mechanical damage
  • Missing or removed parts
  • Make, model, and manufacturing year
  • Registration status
  • Ownership documentation

If the actual condition differs from your initial description, we reserve the right to adjust, revise, or withdraw the offer.

  1. Ownership Verification

You must confirm that:

  • You legally own the vehicle being sold
  • All documents provided are genuine and accurate
  • The vehicle is not stolen, altered, or subject to significant outstanding finance
  • All information given is truthful and complete

Any suspicious or fraudulent activity may be reported to NSW authorities or local police.

  1. Payments

5.1 Accepted Payment Methods

NSW Wreckers provides payment through:

  • Bank Transfer (EFT)
  • Instant Transfer (where supported by your bank)
  • Cash (as allowed under NSW regulations)

5.2 Payment Timeframe

Payment is usually processed at the time of pickup or immediately following the final onsite inspection.

5.3 Payment May Be Withheld If:

  • Information supplied was false or misleading
  • Ownership cannot be confirmed
  • The vehicle cannot be safely accessed or removed
  • Additional issues or undisclosed damage is discovered
  1. Vehicle Removal & Towing

6.1 Free Removal

We offer free towing and pickup services across Sydney and surrounding NSW regions.

6.2 Access Requirements

The seller must ensure the vehicle:

  • Is accessible for towing
  • Is not blocked by fences, gates, or other vehicles
  • Is positioned safely for removal

Additional fees or special equipment may be required if the vehicle is:

  • Missing wheels
  • Stuck in mud, steep areas, or difficult terrain
  • Located in tight or underground spaces

6.3 Missed or Delayed Appointments

If you are unavailable at the scheduled pickup time, we may reschedule or cancel the collection.

  1. Cancellations

You may cancel your booking at any time prior to the pickup without fees.
We may cancel the service if:

  • Ownership cannot be verified
  • Pickup conditions are unsafe
  • The vehicle description was inaccurate
  • Staff safety may be compromised
  1. Customer Obligations

The customer is responsible for:

  • Removing all personal belongings from the vehicle
  • Providing accurate vehicle information
  • Presenting proof of ownership when requested
  • Notifying us of any schedule changes

NSW Wreckers is not responsible for items left in the vehicle once it has been removed.

  1. Liability & Disclaimer

9.1 Limited Liability

NSW Wreckers is not liable for:

  • Personal items left in the vehicle
  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen issues
  • Incorrect valuations based on inaccurate information provided
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the transaction

9.2 No Warranty

All content on our website and provided quotes are offered “as is” with no warranties or guarantees.

9.3 Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for delays, issues, or actions of any third-party towing contractors, payment systems, or service providers.
